Artist agreement

Last updated 4 October 2026

This is the agreement between you, an artist selling in the Hollow Shop, and AnonListen, which runs it. It is written to be read. If a sentence here is unclear, ask before you agree to it.

Your work, made by you

You may only submit work you made yourself. Drawn, painted, pixelled, animated, photographed: any medium, as long as your hands did it.

No generated images. Nothing made by an image model goes on sale here: not a whole piece, not a background, not a base you painted over, not an upscale that invents detail. Ordinary tools are fine: brushes, layers, filters, the usual editing. If a tool draws for you, the piece is out.

We do not run detectors on submissions, because they accuse real artists. We rely on your word, on looking, and on takedowns. A piece found to be generated is removed, and so is everything else of yours, and we do not work together again.

Rights

You must hold the rights to everything in a piece. That rules out other people's characters and worlds (fan art is not sold here; the studios that own those characters license them for money, and we do not), traced or copied work, stock or asset-pack material you have no right to resell, and anything a collaborator has not agreed to. If a rights holder gave you written permission, send it to the keeper before you submit. It goes on file, and the piece can be listed.

What can go on the wall

The shop is PG-13: no nudity, no sexual content, no gore, nothing that targets a group of people.

The same rule covers your room, which means your name, your bio, your links and where they lead, your header and your avatar. A new header or a new avatar waits for the keeper before it shows, so what is up now stays up until then.

Art, not causes

The shop sells art to wear, not messages. A piece whose point is a political, religious or social cause does not go on the wall, whichever side it takes, including sides we agree with. One exception would turn every refusal into an argument about which causes are allowed, so there are none.

  • No flags of any kind: countries, regions, movements, identities or parties.
  • No slogans, and no symbols of a party, a movement or an ideology.
  • No real politicians or other public figures, and no current wars or news events.

The rule is about what a piece says, never about who is in it. Characters of any look, gender, skin colour or style are welcome. Culture is not a cause either: traditional clothing, a rainbow palette that is not a flag, and seasonal decoration are all fine. The keeper asks one question: would a reasonable person read this piece as taking a side? If so, it stays off the wall.

The rule covers everything the shop shows: your pieces, their titles and descriptions, and your room. It does not reach your own Ko-fi page or anywhere else your links lead. What you think is your business. What you do can matter: we may stop working with an artist over proven conduct, such as a criminal conviction, but never over an opinion.

A piece that breaks this rule is declined, and the keeper names the rule. Change it and send it again whenever you like. A piece that slips through is taken off the wall, and its buyers keep what they bought.

What you give us

You keep the copyright. You give AnonListen a non-exclusive licence to encode your files into the app's format, store them, show them in the shop and inside the Hollow app, sell them, and let buyers use them under the licence on the terms page. The licence lasts while the piece is listed. A buyer keeps the files and the badge they already have after you pull a piece.

You can pause a listing yourself at any time from your dashboard. Ask the keeper to remove one.

Money

You sell on your own Ko-fi shop and you keep everything Ko-fi pays out. There is no split, no percentage and no payout from us: the money never passes through AnonListen, and we have nothing to pay you because we were never paid.

Ko-fi is your seller relationship, under Ko-fi's terms. You make the item there, you attach the .hollowpack the shop built for you as its download, and you paste the item's link into your listing here. That link is what puts the piece on the wall and what the Buy button opens.

Paste the description from your dashboard as it is, with the shop's two lines under your own words. They tell the buyer, before they pay, that a code comes by email and that the sale is final. Without them, it is not.

You set the price: at least $4.99 for a single piece and $9.99 for a bundle. Keep the price on Ko-fi and the price here the same. The wall is what a buyer reads before they press Buy, and a different number on the checkout page is the shop lying to them on your behalf. A sale you run from your dashboard is a price you change on Ko-fi yourself, at the same time.

Sales are final, and the buyer is told so twice: in the lines under your Ko-fi description and in the order mail. The exceptions are a code that never arrived, which we send again, and a piece that does not work or is not what its page showed, where the buyer is owed a fix or their money back. Refunds come from you, through Ko-fi. You may also refund any order on your own. Either way, tell the keeper, and the code from it is refused, so the buyer cannot keep the badge as well as the money. Chargebacks are between the buyer, Ko-fi and its payment provider.

Your income and the tax on it are yours to declare. Whatever Ko-fi collects or reports as the platform you sell on is between you and Ko-fi. AnonListen is not part of that and issues you nothing.

Your Ko-fi verification token and the webhook address the shop gives you are yours to keep private. Anyone holding both can tell the shop an order was paid, which mints codes nobody paid for. Never post them, and tell the keeper if either gets out so it can be replaced.

How a piece gets listed

A person looks at every submission before it goes on sale. The keeper can ask for changes or decline a piece, and does not have to give a reason. Once approved, you put the item on Ko-fi and paste its link into your listing, and that is what makes it live. From your dashboard you can change the price, put a piece on sale for a while, or pause it.

Takedowns

If someone claims a piece of yours is theirs, we take it down while we look, and we write to you. If the claim holds, the piece stays down. A second time ends this agreement.

Your data

We keep your sign-in email encrypted and use it for login codes and mail about your listings. Nothing else. Your Ko-fi verification token is kept as a keyed hash, never in plain text. The privacy page has the rest.

Ending

You can stop at any time: pause your listings, or ask the keeper to remove them, and they come off the wall within a few days. We can end the agreement too, and will say why. Either way, buyers keep what they bought.

If something goes wrong

You are responsible for what you submit. If a third party makes a claim against AnonListen because of a piece you submitted, the cost of that claim is yours.

The legal part

This agreement is between you and AnonListen (Vitalii Rovinskyi, Poland) and follows Polish and EU law. We may change it. You get an email before a change applies, and selling after that date is agreement to it. Questions go to support@anonlisten.com.

What you declare with every piece

Under every submission there is one box to tick. It says:

I made this myself. No part of it was generated by an image model. I hold the rights to all of it, or written permission is on file with the keeper. I have read the artist agreement and I agree to it.
